Antique Roll Up Shoe Store Sign/ Worth Shoes circa 1910s

Sorry, this item has sold.

Rare & amazing old mercantile sign advertising "Worth Cushion Sole Shoes". So unusual to find a sign in this format. It is a color lithograph, backed with linen and mounted on wooden dowels. It rolls up and ties, and has a metal ring to hang it by.

The Worth Shoe Co. was based in Worcester, MA. I found some newsprint ads and trade cards from this company with similar shoe designs from the early, early 1900s.

Dimensions: 29" wide x 38" long

Condition: There is some significant wear and tear to this sign, including some paper loss, creases and fraying. I have repaired the top and bottom with linen tape and reset the fabric into the dowels. Please see photos.

Still displays very well. Colors are extremely bright and vibrant.
