Old School Maps was founded in 2012 by independent antiques dealer and appraiser Rebecca Rubel. She recognized a need for a specialized site to sell her growing inventory of vintage and antique school maps, charts and other educational materials, as well as to share her knowledge of and enthusiasm for these beautiful and informative objects.

Rebecca searches the globe for interesting items, but she can mostly be found in Brooklyn, New York. She is a frequent vendor at the Brooklyn Flea and blogs at www.windsorplaceantiques.com She is also a member of the Appraiser's Association of America.
